I've begun reading three books. All from The List. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Sweet Summer, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. None of them have managed to hold my attention (not even A Tree Grows in Brooklyn...sorry sans Rae). I'm about halfway through all three and hope to finish them by the end of the Thanksgiving holiday...along with the four books I checked out from the library. Three of which are not on The List.
Also, I now have a seasonal gig @ a major book seller, so I imagine I will be doing a helluva lot more reading in the coming days. Especially since employee appreciation days are coming and I'll get a 40% discount on most everything in the store! YAAAAAAY! So yes, expect updates here soon. By Sunday at the latest. But don't hold me to it. I have to write a 10 page paper between now and then as well. ;)
